Honor Bound Initiative Expands Veteran Entrepreneur Mentorship Program Nationwide
Jerald Ivan BeaulieuMarch 24, 2026
The Honor Bound Initiative, in partnership with the USVIC Chamber, announces the expansion of its veteran entrepreneur mentorship program — connecting transitioning service members with established veteran business owners across 12 new states.
The Honor Bound Initiative, a flagship program of United States Veterans Inc., has announced a major expansion of its veteran entrepreneur mentorship program, extending its reach to 12 additional states and bringing the total network to 38 states nationwide.
The program pairs transitioning service members and early-stage veteran entrepreneurs with established VOB-certified business owners who have navigated the challenges of building a business after military service. Mentors are drawn from the USVIC Chamber's membership network and commit to a minimum of six months of structured guidance, covering business planning, federal contracting strategy, access to capital, and network development.
"The transition from military service to entrepreneurship is one of the most challenging — and rewarding — journeys a veteran can take," said Jerald Ivan Beaulieu, CEO of United States Veterans Inc. and a U.S. Army veteran. "The Honor Bound Initiative exists to ensure no veteran has to make that journey alone."
Since its founding, the program has supported over 400 veteran entrepreneurs, with mentees reporting an average 34% increase in first-year revenue compared to non-mentored peers. The expanded program will prioritize veterans from underserved communities and those seeking to enter federal contracting for the first time.
Veterans interested in joining as mentees or mentors can apply through the USVIC Chamber portal. Current Chamber members in good standing are eligible to apply as mentors immediately.
The Guardian Network, another USVIC initiative, will provide wraparound support services including legal resources, financial literacy workshops, and access to the Chamber's B2B Marketplace for all program participants.
